MOLLOQUIN, MOULEQUIN, MEULE-QUINFrench term for various fabrics of the 14th century, made at Abbeville and Cambria and dyed in a mauve colour. Later, far into the 18th century the term was applied to fine linens, similar to batiste, made in Northern France and sold in the grey.
